Alternatively, by stopping at East Coast mainline stations such as Peterborough and Grantham, people can travel all the way up to Newcastle and Edinburgh as well as across to East Anglian locations such as Norfolk.

will add to the services accessible in the East Midlands, with a station planned for a site between Nottingham and Derby at Toton.
